SUMTER, SC - On the heels of a double-digit victory over Allen University, the women's basketball team suffered a 68-62 overtime loss at Morris College this afternoon. The Hawks move to 6-15 on the year after tonight's overtime loss.

Chowan led Morris at halftime 32-28 but Morris battled back to tie the game at 60-60 in regulation with a three pointer at the buzzer. In overtime, Morris went onto to outscore the Hawks 8-2 to take the win.

For the Hawks freshman Brittany Nicholson had 18 points while AJ O'Banion and Najah Harris each chipped in 11 points.

The Hawks will travel back to South Carolina next weekend as they play at North Greenville on Saturday in a 2:00pm match up. They will return home to host St. Augustine's College on February 4th at 7:00pm.
